«Happy are those
who to taste to the softness of the work without being a slave».
Benito Pérez Galdós
Today, May 1 * this is the international labour day, a day of
celebration par excellence of the trade union movement, when he was by and for
the workers in several countries around the world. Two countries only do not
celebrate it: - United States and Canada. Instead, these two countries
celebrate 'Labor Day' in September. By
global solidarity, all countries should celebrate in the same day to strengthen
its sense of universal communion in honour to all workers and workers. In the past, may 1 it was a special day used to perform different social
demands and work, for example, the historical claim of the workday of 8 hours
(in 1886).
This day should be an
opportunity to celebrate in grand, celebrate in joy, from the Government, trade
union leaders, PDG of companies, political leaders, at the end of all who think
be a worthy job source.
It is necessary the recognition to the great mass of men and women who
leave each day their homes to win bread, give a roof, clothes and shoes,
education, afford measures allow preserve and protect its health and of their
children. A huge happiness should settle in all the households of workers in
the country.
A big applause should
resonate in all the Earth to thank to these workers who sacrifice themselves,
year after year, month after month until required 65[1] (claimed to produce such
that the fact a person of 25 years). They leave their health[2]'[3], his time, his talent, his
skills at the service of others that employ them. The work is only what you do
or who you are. It isthe working mass la that does not live a life with all the pleasures it
deserves but it is she who leaves an imprint in the history of his country.
Work is a blessing which can become a curse in the hands of individuals
that is used to oppress to slave, to reduce, to control the destiny of his
neighbor and his family. What a hungry and tired man will be forces to oppose
his oppressor?, What a man believing that he y if few job opportunities, will not
support a lower pay by its capabilities and its education?, what a man openly
resist disrespectful treatment of his civil rights and human dignity? What a
man without enough money can afford a lawyer to try to correct the injustices
suffered in his place of work? What man will have sufficient time to invest to
defend occupied to survive? For to ask all these questions, the worker needs
the information on its labour, civil and human rights.
Avoid education,
communicability and disclosure between the workers and the public around their
unfortunate, confrontational and anti-ethics experiences (the cultural law of
silence) are measures of the disenchantment to prevail by doing evil with
impunity.
We hear more on the Organization of massive strikes, social demands in
views to change or improve some aspect of the work, attract more benefit by
what we do, etc.
What's it there more leaders Trade Union or political interest in the
working class? There is nothing to think about the work of women in labour or
child labour? Labour is without doubt, the activity around which revolve much
of the concerns, expectations and political, economic interests with falls on
Education.
The unique that does not participate in this chain of decision-making is the worker and the future worker training. The happiest man is this which can work in that like to do, exercising his right to receive the education that he needs to follow his vocation freely, through the support of the school system that should ensure his personal and professional development. 'Love to life by his work, is to be intimate with the deepest secret of life' said Khalil Gibran.
A further reflection around the work deserves our attention: one that
attaches to the health. There is a single door of entry for any employee in
relationship of dependency in Quebec, the current CNESST *. This government
agency is responsible for conducting all, including the static[4] '[5].
These statistics, no dissent
on workers who are forced to carry out its work injury or illness; which are
poorly diagnostic, diagnostic to fly in time[6] (Herniated discs which
disappear) or deliberately are omitted, does not pay or give them time to
recover, neither treatment nor comprehensive aid in a timely manner to avoid
more damage.
Miles of workers and especially of workers are pushed to resign or are
dismissed as a result of having suffered a serious accident that him League to
impairment, disability or disabled persons temporarily or permanently[7] (a chronic, according to
CSST** in-house jargon). The number of workers abandoned by the famous social
welfare system, is not disclosed.
This is probably the area of disability that makes the best account of
the need to consider the link between health and inequalities social so
unequivocal, las get worse if the victim is an immigrant[8] '[9].
Silence and oblivion around the suicides [10]'[11, distress [12]'[13], harassment and anti-ethics
in reckless hands labourers poorly named professional of health, accomplices lawyers, directors human resources corrupt and
complacent officials who hurt and kill more that care, support and do justice.
A cries of pain that is
produced by this big machine fraudster against vulnerable citizens; cries replaces
one that should emanate joy in this international day of the worker. The
urgency of teaching ethics framed by Love is felt. I must cultivate love have
grown as a flower.
